CIPEM (the Comité International Permanent des Études Mycéniennes)is an international organization concerned with the study of the scripts of the Aegean Bronze Age and related Cypriot scripts, in particular Cretan Hieroglyphic, Linear A, Linear B, Cypro-Minoan, and Cypro-Syllabic. Established in 1966 as an affiliate of the Fédération internationale des associations d’études classiques (FIEC) and UNESCO, CIPEM organizes international conferences and establishes frameworks for the study of these writing systems.
